FUELBLOODED and My Kingdom Music... a great marriage to shock you all!
After their highly acclaimed 'Inflict The Inevitable' debut album (2006) and successful touring in selected parts of Europe, Holland based Fuelblooded have joined My Kingdom Music for the release of their new devastating album, 'Off The Face Of The Earth', announced for February 5th, 2010. With their unique brand of melodic thrash/death metal in the style of Trivium, Darkane & Megadeth, a.o., Fuelblooded represents the new Metal Millennium...
Maybe the title gave it away a little bit... Our show this Friday in Antwerp, which was actually a rescheduled show that should have happened months ago, has been cancelled. The venue is in a suburban area of Antwerp, and they are not getting along with their neighbours at this time. Peeps are complaining! Well, we all know that can't be because of Fuelblooded, cause who doesn't love Fuelblooded?
Hi there! It's been a while, but that is not a sign of inactivity - cause we have been busy as hell in the last couple of months! There's a lot to tell, but all the major news will have to wait for a little bit longer - sorry to keep you waiting this long...
We're sorry to have to inform you that our upcoming show in Antwerp, that was supposed to take place on June 12, is cancelled due to reasons beyond our control. We'll reschedule this gig sometime later in the year. Don't worry Belgium, Fuelblooded will be there eventually!
We'll be hitting the stage again this Friday, together with our old buddies in Outburst. Whole thing takes place in Eindhoven again, at The Rambler this time, with the first band going on around 21.30. Both bands will be playing a pretty long set, so for 5 euros you'll definitely get your money's worth. Come and hang out, it'll be cool!
Missed our shows with Scar Symmetry? Too bad, they were fucking great!
However, if you'd like to get an impression of the shows, you can check out good quality live videos from our Dynamo show that took place on April 8 on our Fuelblooded YouTube Channel. These vids were shot by Peer van der Linden, and he didn't shoot them for nuttin'! These videos need to be checked out by you! Enjoy!
Fuelblooded will play two shows with Swedish metalheads Scar Symmetry this week. On Wednesday, we'll hit the stage at the Dynamo club in Eindhoven. On Thursday, we'll play the Patronaat in Haarlem. Looks like Fuelblooded will open up bot shows, so make sure you don't come in too late if you wanna catch our show - which will start at 20:00 at both nights.
Hope to see you at one of these shows!
‘When Passion Dies’, a brandnew track taken from Fuelblooded’s forthcoming album ‘Off The Face Off The Earth’, can now be heard on the official Fuelblooded MySpace page.
Fuelblooded’s debut album, ‘Inflict the Inevitable’, was released worldwide by UK based label Copro Records in March 2006, receiving many positive reviews all over the world. After an extensive touring cycle, the band took most of 2008 off to write and record their sophomore album. ‘Off the Face of the Earth’ was mixed and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren, well known from his work for Scar Symmetry, One Man Army, The Absence, Carnal Forge, Sonic Syndicate, among others.
It is about time! Fuelblooded will play their first show of 2009 at the end of this month, at the Metropool in Hengelo. Needless to say we're lloking forward to this, since it has been a while we played a show. Come out and have a good time with us! Four bands on a Thursday night, 2 measly euros entrance and fairly priced beer! What more could you possibly want?
O, to get your blood boiling a bit: we're playing a lot of stuff of the new album! Be there or... just be there!!!
Back! It took a while, but here we are, and do we have a treat for you! The last episode of our infamous studio report series for the recording of "Off the Face of the Earth" is now online! You know the drill: surf to Fuelblooded YTC and you can relive our trip to the Black lounge Studios in Avesta, Sweden, where our partner in metal Jonas Kjellgren mixed and mastered everything we recorded into a solid piece of molten metal, ready for you people to break your teeth on! Enjoy!
We're working hard on the artwork for the album. Hopefully, we can give you a taste of that real soon!
This November, the famous 013 venue celebrates its 10th anniversary. Fuelblooded played a fair amount of gigs at the 013 over the years - reason for them to ask us to brighten up the party on November 16. After careful consideration, and because we have nothing better to do, we decided to accept the invitation...
The 013 is a GREAT venue, with lots of metal action going on over the years, and we're honoured to be able to be a part of the anniversary. We'll play the small stage, together, with Hail of Bullets and Stormrider, among others. Come out and play, folks! C u there!
Here's another episode of our studio report for the recording of 'Off the Face of the Earth'. This one puts the spotlight on Danny and Michiel, while they record some fingerfast leadwork that blends in perfectly with the rest of the music. As usual, you can find the report on our Fuelblooded YTC. Only one episode left after this one, the album is nearly completed!
It took a while, but here it finally is: episode 5 of our infamous studio report. You'll see what happened during the recording of Peter's vocals for the new album. It's all happening on our Fuelblooded YTC. And check out the first 4 episodes as well, if you didn't already! Two more episodes to go!
Fuelblooded will play as a support for Death Angel, July 3 at the Patronaat in Haarlem. The day after (July 4), we'll play the Dynamo club with Forbidden and November's Doom. And the day after that we'll take a day off
Episode 3 of the studio report shows the recording process of the drum tracks for our new album, which - as you probably know by now - is entitled 'Off the Face of the Earth'. Watch Norbert destroy his kit while recording some cool rhythms 'n fills! Enjoy it all at the Fuelblooded YTC!
It is here: episode 2 of the Fuelblooded Studio Report we have been shooting during the recording process of our next album, "Off the Face of the Earth"! This time around, Danny demonstrates for everyone to see what metal riffing is all about! Go to the Fuelblooded YTC and see for yourself!
Finally, we managed to find the time to start reporting all that is going on in our camp regarding the recording of our next album, 'Off the Face of the Earth'. Just go to our Fuelblooded YTC and watch the first episode. Enjoy!
Unfortunately, Fuelblooded's participation in Flotsam & Jetsam's show at the Dynamo this coming Sunday has been called off. Flotsam will still play, together with two supports. Reasons beyond our control have forced this cancellation...
Fuelblooded will start recording their next album this week. Over the course of the next two months we'll record nine new songs. We'll start with the rhythm guitars, in March and April we'll continue with the drums, the bass, the vocals and the leads. Second half of April is reserved for mixing and mastering, which will take place in Sweden.
A few photographers took some Fuelblooded pics during our gig at the Battle Against Canver festival, last month at the Green Angel in Oss. The first bunch is up, we'll post some more pics some time soon!
Fuelblooded happily announce they recently signed an endorsement deal with SIT strings, for both guitarists Danny and Michiel and bassist Michel.
Comments Danny: 'These strings sound and play great! Needless to say we are thrilled to be part of the SIT family. We want to thank SIT for believing in Fuelblooded and look forward to a long cooperation.'
Michel's new bass guitar arrived, a little delayed, a few days ago. It looks great, and considering the
abundance of low frequencies we all witnessed on stage this past weekend, it sounds like a real heavy motherfucker
too!
Fuelblooded bass player signs endorsement deal with Mayones
Fuelblooded bass player Michel Steenbekkers recently signed an endorsement deal with Mayones Guitars & Basses. Comments Michel:
"I'm proud to announce that I will be endorsed by Mayones basses. As we speak, my custom made bass, type Victorious-4, with the specs I've personally picked, is being built and will be in my eager hands somewhere around the end of August 2007. I can't wait to put my fingers on it!"
Today, we launched our very own home at Youtube, Fuelblooded YTC. Now, why would we launch a YouTube channel? Yes, you guessed right! We uploaded a video for you to watch! It's a vid for the song 'Constructive destruction', for which we uploaded a full mp3 on our MySpace site some time ago. It's not your average music video this one. It is a little mix of live footage and off stage footage we recorded ourselves. Hope you all enjoy it. It is supposed to keep you busy for now, so that we have some more time to finish the songwriting for the new album...
O, the address to visit is Fuelblooded YTC. Post your comments and let us know what you think. Hell, if you really like us or the video, be our first friend
It sounds like the Chinese version of the (in)famous Graspop festival in Belgium, but it's not... it is what it is: Glaspop. And Fuelblooded is confirmed for this year's installment, taking place on September 1. So... enjoy your summer, have a blast, suck up the metal at the various festivals around Europe, and come join the Glaspop mayhem Fuelblooded will unleash on September 1! O, and check the shows-section for more confirmed gigs, a.o. the Stonehenge festival on July 28. Cheers!
Fuelblooded's previously announced show with Entombed has unfortunately been cancelled. Entombed decided to cancel their whole European tour, and with that our first opportunity to rock the big stage of the new and improved Effenaar has been postponed to another occasion. Hopefully we can make up for this very soon. We'll keep you posted!
While working hard on material for our sophomore album, we've managed to line up a pretty decent list of gigs for the next couple of months. We're actually starting to cover the whole of the Netherlands, since we've been playing a lot of shows in places we've never played before...
Fuelblooded have been confirmed for this year's installment of the Stonehenge festival, which will take place on the 28th of July, in Steenwijk. For more info on the line-up, check the official website: Stonehenge festival.
Fuelblooded has been added to the line up of the 'Kelder Festival' at the Eucalypta in Winterswijk, this coming Saturday (January 20). Since we have never played in that area of the country before, we're very much looking forward to bring you guys a healthy dose of real metal! It's gonna ROCK for sure! C ya Saturday!
Danny and Michiel did a short interview with the online version of Holland's biggest metal magazine, Aardschok. Those of you that are interested, find it in the press-section. Mind you, the interview is in Dutch. But remember, there's enough English interviews in the press-section for all you non-Dutch Fuellists! Take a quick peek and find out!
Fuelblooded would like to thank everyone that accompanied us yesterday at our show for the Metal Bash competition. It was cool to see so many familiar faces in front of us, we had a great time - hope you did too!
Fuelblooded have been selected to enter the annual Metal Bash competition, together with 15 other bands from The Netherlands and Belgium. There'll be four qualifying rounds, Fuelblooded will play the one on December 9 at De Nieuwe Pul in Uden. The final will be on December 17, at De Boerderij in Zoetermeer.
Coming Friday is our next show, together with our buddies from Detonation. Also, Mythlorian were added to the bill. Needless to say it'll be a great night for everyone that likes his or her death metal melodic!
On a different note: our show on Saturday, November 18 in Almere, has been cancelled due to reasons beyond our control. The local promoter fucked up, and on top of that he forgot to inform us about this untill today. Too bad, but you'll have plenty of opportunities to see Fuelblooded live in the coming months! Hell, you might even get tired of seeing us everywhere
We're preparing ourselves for a pretty cool weekend. As you might now we're sharing the stage with the mighty Gorefest on Fridaythe 27th in our hometown of Den Bosch, where we'll be playing the beautiful W2 club. If that isn't enough (of course it isn't!), we're playing a show with Textures on Saturday at the Groene Engel in Oss. it's gona be a crazy weekend for sure! And let me tell you: we're READY for it! Hope you are too, cause we expect you to get a little crazy with us!
Let the bleeding begin, I say! O, and we got a nice little surprise for all of you soon...
Peter made his first appearance with Fuelblooded yesterday in Woerden. He learned the whole set in just two weeks, and he did a great job onstage. A couple of visuals from the show can be found in the gallery. Look for the 'Live in Babylon'-series.
We've been asked to participate in a benefit gig called Metal against Cancer. All proceeds will be donated to the KWF foundation to support the continuous research necessary to fight cancer. Now, of course we hate doing charity, cause it doesn't pay our bills , but this one is for a good cause! Remember, we lost one of our brothers to cancer, and another barely survived. So time for us to pay our respect and help out!
After all, it's all about the metal
Check out a flyer for the festival, that will take place October 7th at venue 't Tref in Hilvarenbeek.
Fuelblooded are proud to announce the addition of singer Peter Brinkman (ex-Aura, ScenarioII, Zilver) to the ranks, after Vital Welten left the band
earlier this week.
After four years of working together, Fuelblooded have parted ways with singer Vital Welten.
"We want to thank Vital for his contributions to Fuelblooded in the last four years. We wish him all the best in his future musical endeavors and in his personal life. We will announce our new singer shortly. In the meantime all shows will go ahead as planned. Horns up!"
We plan on playing a vicious set tomorrow in Rotterdam, supporting Born From Pain and Six Feet Under at the famous Baroeg club. We'll start pretty early, around 20.30. So make sure you get there in time!
In other news, Danny & Michiel did an interview with Overhook Music recently. You can find the link in the press-section. Make sure to check out the latest reviews as well; new ones are still coming in. And of course y'all wanna know what the press thinks of 'Inflict...', right?
It's been a while since the last update, but that does not mean we're not doing anything Fuelblooded related. Some of us are enjoying a well-earned vacation, others are sweating their balls while working in sunny Holland.
We have added a couple of shows to our schedule for the coming months. We'll be playing a show with Six Feet Under on the 10th of August, a show with Destruction on the 9th op September and a show with Gorefest on the 27th of October, among others. See the complete list in the shows-section.
Michiel did an interview with the famous Terrorizer Magazine from the UK just before the UK tour took off. You can find the interview, which was featured in the June issue, in the press section, along with a bunch of newly added reviews. If you're too lazy to go find it yourself (yeah, you probably are) you can choose to click the following link: Terrorizer interview.
Some more pictures from our UK tour with Detonation are uploaded in the "UK tour 2006" gallery. Check 'em out!
Unfortunately, the show with Textures on Friday June 9 has been cancelled for reasons beyond our control. We'll let you know as soon as we know if and when the show will be rescheduled. You can still catch us this weekend though: we'll play de Goudvishal on Sunday June 11 with Decapitated and No Return. Remember it starts pretty early! Be there around 16.00 if you wanna be sure to see us!
We have created our own little merch shop, so all of you Fuellists can buy all the Fuelmerch you desire. Take a look in the merch-section and find out if there's anything that you can picture yourself wearing or listening to.
Danny wrote a very extensive tour report on all that happened during our UK tour with Detonation. Parts 1 & 2 are to be found at our official MySpace site: MySpace.com/fuelblooded. It's a good read, so if you have a little time on your hands, don't hold back!
Check out the flyer for our upcoming show with Decapitated, set to take place at de Goudvishal in Arnhem on June 11.
Michiel recently did an interview with Quintessence webzine. Find it in the press section of this site. Also check a scan of the review for 'Inflict...' in Belgium's biggest metalmagazine Mindview.
'This album kicks your ass from the first note until the last'
A couple of new reviews for 'Inflict the Inevitable' came in this week. There's a great one in Transcending the Mundane webzine. An exerpt from the review: This album kicks your ass from the first note until the last. There is no slowing down and there is no filler... This could be one of the most refreshing/promising metal debuts I have ever heard...
After a week's worth of playing & partying our UK tour with Detonation has come to an end. Last show, with Nile in London, was hectic, but we managed to deliver a crushing four song set in a meager twenty minutes anyway. Great fun!
Fuelblooded will join Polish deathstars Decapitated and French cyberthrashers No Return for their gig at the Goudvishal in Arnhem on June 11. That is a Sunday, guys 'n gals, so be there in time cause the show starts at 4 pm!
As far as our current UK tour is concerned: tomorrow we'll be in Weymouth for a show at Finns, which should be good! After that we'll head out to London to join Nile and Yyrkoon at the Scala! Looking forward to that!
Well, we're halfway through the tour! The show at the Full Moon in Bristol last night was great! We'll be on our way to Pontypridd in an hour or so, to show South Wales what Dutch metal is all about! We're definitely not taking any prisoners on this tour!
If you're interested: our guitarist Danny has posted a new blog with an extensive tour diary of the first couple of days on our MySpace site. Read it!
While we're on tour in the UK during the coming week, we'll try and keep you all informed about all that's happening. Hopefully all good news about shows and everything that's going on while on tour. And juicy details of course
The gig in the Voodoo Rooms in Sunderland (May 8) has been cancelled. In stead of that show, we'll play the legendary Finns club in Weymouth on May 9, which naturally is a great pleasure!
In other news, a couple of reviews from print magazines are available. If you're interested, you can check the reviews from Kerrang, Terrorizer and Dutch leading metal magazine Aardschok.
We're rapidly approaching the kick off of our first ever UK tour, only one more week to go till we hit the stage in Manchester. Final preparations have started, but that didn't stop us from adding yet another gig to our touring roster: on May 7 we'll hit Pontypridd (South-Wales) for a late afternoon show. So make sure you get there in time!
Check out flyers of some of the shows on this tour:

Man, did we work hard these last couple of weeks! But it was all for a good cause! We finished all recordings last week and then shipped the whole thing to Denmark. The mighty Jacob Hansen (Invocator) will mix and master our new album during the coming weeks. He'll have a great Xmas I can tell you that :-)
October 31, 2003 Just checking in...
A quick update from the band, we are currently preparing to enter the studio to record a full lenght CD. We have thirteen songs written so far, out of which nine songs will be picked and recorded. More news on our progress will follow soon.
